With such a perfect location, it’s easy hiking at Sehome Hill Arboretum, taking in a show at Western, and going boating at the waterfront all in one day. It’s quick to run errands at the nearby Fred Meyer, or a myriad of quirky small businesses, and interstate access is minutes away.

It's close to downtown, offering a lot of access to nightlife. There are also lots of little parks scattered throughout, allowing leisurely afternoon walks. It's also a very popular party neighborhood for Western Students, offering a lively community. The historic homes in this neighborhood are almost an attraction themselves!
